 I am an industrial engineer by training and tech-enthusiast at heart. After 15 years I quit my corporate career to  run my own med-tech company because I believed  in the transformative power of digitalization, data, and technology to revolutionize healthcare, making superior medical solutions accessible and impacting millions of lives.

My personal journey into menopause began at 39, when I unexpectedly entered early menopause. Faced with minimal information and vague advice to simply 'reduce stress,' I endured sleepless nights, concentration issues, and unpredictable mood swings. Through extensive personal research, I was able to fully reclaim my vitality and joy in both my professional and personal life.

Millions of women suffer unnecessarily up to 15 years in silence from the hormonal transition. Even though there are evidence-based solutions not only to immediately restore vitality but also to set a great foundation for healthy aging.

Evela Health was born from a vision where women over 40 not get through the day, but thrive and become the best versions of themselves—living healthy, joyful lives. At Evela, we go beyond treating symptoms; we empower women to lead vibrant lives through data-driven  health solutions.

Chief Science Officer

With a background in internal medicine and public health, my journey has been driven by a passion for big data and a commitment to bridging the healthcare gap in women's health. After over a decade in clinical practice, I transitioned to research, working at institutions like University Hospital Zurich, Robert-Koch Institute and Charité Berlin, and serving as Chief Medical Officer at Data4Life, where I led initiatives that solidified my dedication to health tech.

I’ve seen how the standard ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach, based largely on male-centered data, leaves women, especially those in menopause, underserved and without tailored support. This gap fuels my commitment at Evela Health to redefine women’s healthcare using real-world data from wearables and advanced analytics, creating a new standard in personalized, evidence-based care.

As Co-Founder and Chief Scientist Officer, I am driven to make a difference – and I love doing so alongside an excellent team dedicated to this mission. Together, we’re working to transform women’s health and build a model that can set the stage for a more inclusive healthcare future.

Chief Technology Officer

With a strong background in product management, web development, and business growth, I’ve spent the past 20 years helping companies build and scale digital products and teams. I’m passionate about creating smart, scalable solutions and guiding projects from the first idea to successful launch and beyond.

After founding my own software company in Italy, I’ve held leadership roles across Europe and the U.S.—from serving as CTO in residence at Finleap in Berlin to leading engineering teams at New Signature, 10Pearls, and sennder. I’ve also co-founded several ventures, including Infinitec Solutions and Tenderwise, where I currently serve as CTO.

What drives me most is building technology that truly makes a difference—solutions that simplify complex problems and help people lead better lives.

Board-certified gynecologist

Specialist in Gynecology & Obstetrics and Menopause & Women’s Health Expert Dr. Carolin Zich is a highly experienced gynecologist specializing in menopause, hormonal health, and comprehensive women’s care. She studied medicine at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and gained extensive clinical experience at Charité Campus Mitte, where she focused on obstetrics, gynecology, and breast health, with expertise in dysplasia and endometriosis. After working in private practice, she established her own gynecological clinic in Berlin Mitte in 2022. Dr. Zich provides personalized, evidence-based care, guiding women through every stage of life, from preventative health to menopause management. At Evela Health, she shares her expertise to help women understand and navigate the changes of menopause with confidence. Through a compassionate and holistic approach, she empowers women to make informed health decisions and achieve long-term well-being.

Nutritional Medicine Specialist

I am Dr. Lara Maier, a doctor with experience in ENT and occupational medicine from my time at the University Hospital rechts der Isar in Munich and Charité in Berlin. My passion for innovation in healthcare has led me to focus on digital medicine. At CASPAR Health, a digital rehabilitation platform, I serve as Head of Business Development, Medical Content, and Clinical Studies. As a certified member of the American Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM) and a specialist in nutritional medicine (DGEM), I have a strong interest in prevention within the digital space. Beyond my work at CASPAR, I apply my medical expertise as a consultant for start-ups and companies, helping to bridge the gap between "medical reality" and "business." I also contribute regular “fact checks” to the Visionaries of Health podcast and actively participate in ''Hacking Health'' initiatives.

Gynecologist

I’m Dr. Karina Stolp, a board-certified specialist in gynecology and obstetrics with a strong focus on hormonal health, preventive medicine, and healthy longevity. After completing my medical degree at Hannover Medical School and my initial training in surgery, I discovered my passion for women’s health. Since then, I’ve been supporting women through all stages of life – first in clinical settings, and now in private practice.

Alongside my specialist training, I pursued further education in functional medicine, micronutrient therapy, infusion medicine, and acupuncture. As a certified nutritionist (DGE/DAEM), I am committed to offering women holistic care that is evidence-based, individualized, and compassionate.

Since 2024, I have been practicing at Privatpraxis Hannover Mitte, where I bring together my two core interests: modern, integrative women’s health and preventive medicine that goes beyond traditional gynecology.

Certified Functional Training Expert

Claudia Dutschmann is a certified personal trainer specializing in functional training for women over 40. With extensive experience and qualifications, including A- and B-licenses from Perform Better in Munich, she offers personalized training programs tailored to individual needs. Claudia operates her own studio in Berlin, where she provides one-on-one coaching and online training sessions for women. ​ In addition to her personal training services, Claudia serves as an athletic trainer for the Zehlendorfer Wespen sports club, bringing her expertise to a broader athletic community. She is also a certified Functional Training Specialist and contributes as a lecturer at the Massage Wellness Akademie, sharing her knowledge with aspiring fitness professionals. Claudia maintains an active online presence, sharing workout routines and fitness tips through her YouTube channel and Facebook page. Her dedication to promoting health and wellness aligns seamlessly with Evela Health's mission to support women's well-being, making her a valuable contributor to our platform.

Wellbeing, resilience, and yoga coach

I am a fully qualified architect and project developer, but I have always had a lifelong passion for yoga. My journey has taken me around the world, from Australia to Africa, Indonesia, and Southern Europe. During the pandemic, I made the bold decision to leave the corporate world and dedicate myself fully to studying and practicing mental and physical well-being. I trained to become a professional yoga teacher, specializing in breathwork, meditation, and playing the alchemy crystal singing bowls. My epiphany came when I attended a yoga retreat in Mallorca at Cal Reiet, searching for a way to heal from long Covid. I was deeply moved by the ancient wisdom that touches all aspects of life—so essential for achieving an authentic and lasting state of well-being. Now, I love sharing my experiences and insights, helping others find their own path to sustainable well-being and true happiness.
